Saving photos and screenshots
Photos stay on your phone. Cue just keeps track of them.
- In Photos (or from the screenshot thumbnail), tap Share.
- Choose Cue.
- Add a note, folder, or reminder if useful, then tap Save.
Cue stores a copy of the image on your phone and shows it on the saved item. The original photo remains in your Photos library.
Photos and screenshots are not uploaded. Even if you sign in and sync, the picture itself stays on the phone where you saved it. Another device will see the item — its title, note, folder, and reminder — with a placeholder instead of the picture.
If Cue recognizes a screenshot and uses that to create ordinary reminder content — for example, a title such as “Message from Sam” — that title may sync when you’re signed in. Detailed screenshot-recognition data stays on your device.
Cue accepts one image per share. Videos, PDFs, and other files aren’t supported yet.
