A few things you might be wondering.

Links, articles, posts, products, songs, messages, text, and photos or screenshots — anything you can share from the apps you already use. Cue accepts one link, a block of text, or one photo per share through the iOS share sheet.

Cue works through the iOS share sheet, so it works with supported content shared from apps such as Safari, Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, Spotify, YouTube, and Photos. If an app can share a link, text, or an image, it can share to Cue. Cue labels saves from well-known apps automatically so you can filter by source later.

Tap Share in the app you’re in, choose Cue, and tap Save. That’s it. If you want, add a note, pick a folder, or choose a reminder before you save — none of those are required. Cue saves locally first, so it works even when you’re offline.

iOS decides the order of the share sheet, and new apps usually start near the end. Scroll to the end of the app row, tap More, then Edit, and add Cue to your Favorites so it’s always up front. Cue also includes a short guide for this in Settings → Add Cue to Share Favorites.

No. Save something without a reminder and it stays in Cue until you want it — you’ll find it under No reminder. When something does need to come back, choose In 1 hour, Today, Tomorrow, or a custom date and time.

Pick a time when you save, or add one later from the item. Cue schedules a notification on your phone for that moment. Today and Tomorrow use a time you choose (8:00 PM by default; change it in Settings → Remind me). You can reschedule, snooze, remove the reminder, or mark the item complete at any time.

You get a notification with the item’s title or context — never your private notes. Tap Done to complete it or Snooze to push it back an hour without opening the app. Tap the notification itself to open the saved item in Cue, with the link, text, or screenshot you saved. If you don’t act on it, Cue sends one gentle follow-up two hours later (“Still on your list”), then leaves it alone.

Yes. Take a screenshot of the conversation, share it to Cue, and choose when you want to come back — In 1 hour is made for this. Cue recognizes supported Messages screenshots on your phone and can title the save after the person (“Message from Sam”). The screenshot stays on your device. If you’re signed in, that reminder title may sync with the rest of your Cue data.

When the reminder fires, the screenshot is right there so you can pick up where you left off. Cue never reads your messages in the background; it only sees what you choose to share.

Only the ones tied to reminders you set, plus two small extras designed to stay out of your way: one follow-up two hours after a reminder if the item is still open, and one summary on Sunday at noon listing what you saved that week and haven’t finished. If nothing is waiting, the Sunday summary doesn’t send. If several reminders land in the same minute, Cue combines them into a single notification.

No. Capture comes first. Search everything later, filter by source or status, or use folders when you want more structure. You can choose a folder while sharing, or move things later — both are optional.

Tap Search in Cue to search titles, notes, shared text, previews, sources, and folder names — all on your phone. Or narrow the list with filters: by status (Overdue, Upcoming, No reminder, Completed) and by source (Safari, Instagram, Messages, Reddit, a website, and so on).

Cue is built for things to move through, not pile up. Reminders bring items back when you chose. Complete clears what you’ve handled and keeps it findable. Filters show only what’s overdue, upcoming, or unscheduled. Folders are there when you want them. And once a week, the Sunday summary shows you what’s still waiting so nothing quietly disappears.

Not to use Cue on your iPhone. Save, organize, and get reminders without signing in. An account is only needed when you want your saves kept safe if you get a new phone or synced across devices. Cue may suggest an account after a few saves; you can dismiss that and it won’t keep asking.

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and Cue keeps your saved items, notes, folders, reminder times, and completion status in your account so they’re available on another signed-in device. Images and screenshots stay on the phone where you saved them — they are not uploaded to Cue’s cloud storage. If Cue used a recognized screenshot to create a reminder title such as “Message from Sam,” that title may sync like any other title.

If you already have saves on your phone when you sign in, Cue asks whether to keep this phone’s data, use the account’s, or combine both.

Cue’s beta is currently free and available to testers in the United States. Paid subscriptions are planned for the public release. Planned public-launch pricing is $4.99/month or $39.99/year (about $3.33/month), with one Cue — no feature tiers. Those prices are not currently chargeable; the beta does not process Cue subscription purchases.

Cue is available for iPhone today. Android and Web are in development. Your Cue account is the same everywhere, so when they arrive your synced items will be there.

Cue only receives what you choose to share to it — it never scans your messages, browser, photos, or other apps. You can use Cue without an account; in guest mode, saved Cue content stays on your device.

Images and screenshots you share with Cue remain on your device and are not uploaded to Cue’s cloud storage. Cue analyzes supported screenshots on-device. Detailed screenshot-recognition data stays on your device. If Cue uses recognized information to create ordinary reminder content — for example, a title such as “Message from Sam” — that reminder title may sync with the rest of your Cue data when you’re signed in.

If you create an account, reminder and folder information needed to sync across devices is stored with our cloud provider. Cue does not sell your personal information or use your saved content for advertising. We use limited product analytics and crash diagnostics; those events are designed not to include the contents of your reminders, notes, shared text, or saved URLs. Yes. Delete any item from inside Cue at any time.

Signed-in users can delete their Cue account from Settings. Account deletion removes the user’s Cue account and synced Cue data from our primary application database and clears Cue-managed account data stored locally on the device. Images and screenshots stored by Cue on the device are also removed as part of the local deletion process.

Some limited information may remain for a period in service-provider backups, security records, or operational logs according to those providers’ retention practices and applicable legal requirements. Individual deleted reminders may leave a limited deletion marker in Cue’s cloud database so that deletion can synchronize correctly between devices.

Guest users can use the Delete Local Data option in Settings to remove Cue content stored on that device.
